Our Services
What do we offer?
Free initial consultation.
I offer a FREE 30 min consultation appointment to discuss your desired look, colour match you, to check that your natural hair has the strength to support extensions and that you fully understand how to look after you extensions once they are in.
I will also take a 50% retainer for the cost of your fitting appointment and book you in for fitting, typically within 5 days of your consultation.
All client’s are given a full starter set when they have their new extensions fitted, this includes shampoo, conditioner, brush, separating clips, heat defence spray and a full aftercare sheet to help you get used to your new hair. All inclusive for the cost of your new extensions.
What about aftercare? Don’ts
Hair extensions need thorough care and there are several chemicals that can damage your new hair.
DON’T swim without putting conditioner in your hair before you get in the pool. Conditioner will place a barrier between the chemicals and your new hair. Natural sea water is also damaging to your hair, please put conditioner in before your beach or ocean swim.
DON’T sleep with your hair down, always plait or braid before sleep.
DON’T sleep with wet hair, always dry thoroughly.
DON’T dye your extensions, as this voids any warranty from the supplier and it can shorten the expected longevity of your hair.
Lets talk maintenance and re - fits of your hair extensions.
Maintenance and re fits are essential to keeping your new extensions in a healthy condition. Excellent quality hair extension can last 12 months with good aftercare, so its really important that you follow your technicians guidelines.
Maintenance needs to be done every 4 - 10 weeks depending on natural hair growth, for example weaves typically come down 1 - 3 inches depending on your natural hair. Moreover, you can loose up to 10% in nano’s over the same time frame, this is nothing to worry about and is completely normal, however; if you are concerned it is essential that you contact your technician for advice.
Are extensions expensive?
Hair extensions are a luxury item for most; however, for a few they are a necessity and fundamental to their appearance and well-being; as someone who forms in the latter i compleatley understand and could not dream of having my hair without extensions, they are part of my identity. As a woman i know i am judged based on my appearance and my hair is a big part of that.
Hair extensions can cost between £300 - £995 depending on the thickness, length and method used, this is just the initial outlay of your new hair.
Maintenance is typically done every 4 - 10 weeks depending on method, your natural hair growth and how well your natural hair holds them. Maintenance costs an average of £65 for weft and nano combination, but can vary depending on stylist, location and time needed for refits.
What do we offer?

I have irritation on my scalp/itching, what do i do?
Here at Annabelle’s legacy hair extensions i do a comprehensive consultation discussing if you have ever had an allergy to copper, silicon, metal or plastics or if you have ever suffered with eczema or other skin conditions on your scalp; and to do a strand test which can be done 48 hours before fitting to check for irritations to your scalp.
If you develop redness, itching at the site of your extensions you must contact your technician for advice, sometime irritation can be caused by products or because extensions are too tight. and pulling on your scalp leading to irritation.

Before(left) After (right)
Client 44 year old who has suffered with very fine hair and suffered hair loss.
140g weave with 35g Nano’s to fill out front of hair.
How do i know which method will work for me?
Hair extensions are suitable for most hair types from very fine and thin to thick hair.
As a general rule of thumb, 100 - 120g is typically heavy enough for thin hair; however there are exceptions to this and will depend on the quality of your natural hair which can be discussed during your consultation.
Nano’s are a good option along with a weave and tape wefts are also a good option.
What about Aftercare I hear you say? Do’s
